LIVING WITH NATURE...
 Campbell Woods is a community dedicated to the conservation of the environment. The first principle guiding this innovative conservation community is "environmental enhancement and protection ". Unlike most other developments, Campbell Woods was initially conceived to integrate natural features (hardwood forest, savannas, wetlands, streams, and meadows) with beautiful homes in the historic landscape of Southeast Wisconsin. In recognition of the priceless value of natural resources, a handbook of general guidelines was developed during the design phase for Campbell Woods. The concepts were developed to maximize the health of the natural environment and thereby enhance the quality of human life at Campbell Woods.*
Campbell Woods will enhance the ecosystem of this rare oak savanna by removing invasive species of plants and allowing the natural restoration of native wildflowers, underbrush, and the hardwood trees themselves. Campbell Woods will protect the environment by leaving more than 20 acres of natural common area as habitat for wildlife and nature trails for residents. The development of the Campbell Woods site plan included an innovative approach to the management of storm water flows and pollutant levels. In addition, each homeowner will be encouraged to protect natural area in their landscape plan. The “Living with Nature” booklet educates residents about the proper use of fertilizers, herbicides, and other materials to minimize their impact on the Campbell Woods ecosystem.
The goal is a unique and beautiful community living with nature. Here harmony and balance are restored. It’s your private sanctuary.
